Information on deadlines, conditions and cancellation costs
Our cancellation fee
With our cancellation fee (one-time 48 € per room) you can cancel free of charge up to 5 days before arrival (payment within 10 days after booking to the bank account: IBAN: DE71 2415 0001 0000 2745 55 (SWIFT-BIC: BRLADE21CUX) at the Stadtsparkasse Cuxhaven. This does not apply to stays with arrival within the next 4 weeks.
Cancellation without catering
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 28 days before arrival. In the event of a later cancellation, we charge 90% of the agreed final accommodation price. In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, we will charge the full amount.
Cancellation including breakfast
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 28 days before arrival. In the event of a later cancellation, we will charge 80% of the agreed final accommodation price. In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, we will charge the full amount.
Cancellation including half board
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 28 days before arrival. In the event of a later cancellation, we charge 70% of the agreed final accommodation price. In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, we will charge the full amount.
Cancellation conditions for tour groups
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 6 weeks before the day of arrival. If the order is cancelled at a later date or the room is not used, cancellation costs will be incurred if the room is not rented to another party. These amount to 80 % for bed and breakfast, 70 % for half board and 60 % for full board. The provision of § 537 BGB applies in this respect.
Orders and changes to them (e.g. regarding guest names, arrival and departure dates) and cancellations must be made in writing or by telex; our employees are not authorised to make binding declarations in this regard over the telephone.
If the customer does not make use of the reserved rooms in whole or in part without having cancelled the order in accordance with clauses 3 and 4, the hotel shall retain its full claim to payment of the room price.
The hotel shall receive a list of the names of the arriving guests up to 2 weeks before arrival. The rooms will only be handed over to guests on the list upon arrival.
Up to 6 weeks before arrival, the hotel will receive a 50% deposit based on the rooms reserved to date, to the following hotel account:

The customer guarantees payment of the remaining invoice after departure of the group within 14 days of the invoice date.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The place of fulfilment and jurisdiction is Cuxhaven. The contract and any amendments must be made in writing to be valid. The invalidity of individual provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
